3D printing

Mollie with the 3D printerThe primary purpose of the 3d printer is to give engineering students a chance to print their projects after the science building has closed. We are working in close contact with Paulina Sidwell and her students.

After engineering students, we have opened up the printer to all of our MCC family looking to learn about 3d printing. Paulina has created a Google Classroom explaining everything anyone needs to know -->

When you are ready to print, please make sure to export/”save as” your project as an “.STL” filetype. Once you've made an appointment here -->
a staff member will respond to your request and then you may send the .STL file for your project. That same staff member will correspond with you and will be available if you have questions or comments.
