Since it is a multidisciplinary science, research in this field often intersects with a wide variety of topics. We have compiled these resources to help you understand where to start your research into Environmental Science.

These resources include

  • Article databases
  • Internet resources
  • Books
  • Environmental Science journal listings

Getting Started!

Once you have your topic in hand, try to identify the appropriate resource for you.

Do you need academic or peer-reviewed articles? If so, try an academic database like Academic Source Complete. If you need very specific or technical scientific information, you may want to try the ScienceDirect database.

Is your topic in the news? If so, you may want to explore news article databases.

Do you need a book instead? We have many Environmental Science volumes in hardback and eBook formats. Just click the "Find Books" tab to the left.
