The TexShare Program through the Texas State Library and Archives Commission provides member libraries and their patrons with full text databases, a borrower program, and interlibrary loan services. Instead of our college paying for individual subscriptions to the 71 databases provided through the TexShare progam, we pay a membership fee to gain access to these resources. The funding for the databases program comes from the member library fees (24%), Federal funds (29%) and State funds (47%).
You can check out books and articles from other Texas TexShare member libraries by obtaining a TexShare Card from the MCC Library. Fill out a TexShare Card application, available here for downloading and printing, or request an application at the library. Remember to bring your MCC ID when you come in to apply.
