Shared Knowledge Resource Assignment
You will work in a group to create a knowledge resource that pairs with one of the course's assigned readings and helps future readers better understand and engage with the chosen literary work. Your group will choose the format for this project. (Please see your assignment prompt for suggested formats.)
As a group, conduct research and choose which information to include in the shared-knowledge resource. Dr. Hobbs offers some suggestions, including:
When choosing items or information to include in your resource, focus on the fact that the resource you create is designed to inform your audience and help them better understand the chosen literary work.
Empathy Analysis Assignment
You will choose a literary character from one of the course's assigned literary readings. Dr. Hobbs asks that you create "a set of criteria, qualities, or examples" related to that character, which you will then develop in your outline and discuss in an essay. Support your essay with three academic sources from the MCC Library, such as peer-reviewed journal articles or books.
