Although on-site service is not available until August 17th, Library Staff are ready to assist you remotely. Please contact us by phone, email, or chat - or schedule a virtual appointment during our regular hours of operation, and we will gladly help you. As always, our electronic resources are available 24/7.
Please read below for updated information about library hours, book access, book return, library instruction, and other campus resources.
Please DO NOT return rented bookstore textbooks to the MCC Library! Please visit the MCC Bookstore Hours page for information about returning, ordering and picking up textbooks and course materials. (We have received several unmarked textbooks in the mail or book drop bin intended for the bookstore, with no way of identifying the student associated with the return)
The library continues to offer virtual services via phone, email, or chat during the library hours listed below. We offer book access, by request, to currently enrolled students. An MCC librarian can meet with students in the AST, by appointment, if in-person help is preferred. On August 17th, the library will begin allowing students, faculty, and staff in the library, while following the college’s mask and social distancing guidelines.
Circulating Book Access: Beginning June 8th, we will be loaning library books by Request.
A note about printing:
The Library's in-house graphing calculators are not accessible at this time. Consider the following free web-based graphing calculator simulators or search your smartphone app store for graphing calculators.
We now have a drop box out in front of the LTC for book returns. However, books are all due at the end of the semester for students and faculty; therefore, students do not have to come to campus yet to return books. Please wait to return the book until the due date since we are discouraging visits to campus.
Free WiFi is available between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. in Parking Lot E outside The Highlands gym.
Visit MCC's Internet Resources page for details and instructions for logging on.
As always, librarians are available to teach library instruction sessions for your classes. Please submit requests via the online form at the following link: https://mclennan.wufoo.com/forms/library-instruction-request-form/. There is no need to indicate a location, since all classes will be taught in Zoom.
