Informative Process Assignment
You are allowed to choose your own topic for this assignment. However, Professor Hampton does not accept speeches on any topics that are common knowledge. The topic you choose should require you to conduct research, and it should also teach your audience something new.
Individual Persuasive Policy Assignment
You are allowed to choose any topic. You will then approach that topic as a Question of Policy. Use the problem-cause-solution format to write your paper:

Group Persuasive Assignment
Your group is allowed to choose any topic. You will then approach that topic as a Question of Fact, Question of Value, or Question of Policy. Your choice between these three approaches will strongly affect the structure of your presentation, so make sure you review your assignment prompt to learn about the different structures before making your choice.
