Informative Process Assignment
You are allowed to choose your own topic for this assignment. However, Professor Hampton does not accept speeches on any topics that are common knowledge. The topic you choose should require you to conduct research, and it should also teach your audience something new.
Persuasive Policy Assignment
Your group will identify a problem that you can effectively solve with a local, state, or national public policy. You will explain the cause of the problem, create a solution for the problem, and then work to persuade your audience of your policy plan's effectiveness.
