Reaction Essay research requirements:

  • Use the library's search tools to locate one digital, peer-reviewed article.
  • Make sure the article is related to a psychological disorder.
  • Make sure the article is no more than 3-5 years old.
    • Dr. Morris prefers you to use articles that are no more than 3 years old.
    • If you find multiple useful articles that fall into the preferred age range, she asks that you use the newest article
  • If you have trouble finding an appropriate article,  ask an MCC librarian for help by stopping by the library or by using the links in the "Get Research and Citation Help" box on this page.

  • search basics
  • signing in
  • the item-preview page
  • accessing items
  • accessing more information about an item
  • narrowing your search results
    • Hint: You will need to limit your results to peer-reviewed articles
    • Hint: You will need to limit your results by age (no more than 5 years old, but preferably no more than 3 years old)
