Often professors require you to use information from scholarly or peer reviewed journals.  This chart will help you decided if an article is from a scholarly journal or a popular magazine.

Finding Journal Articles

Many databases contain scholarly articles.  To find them, locate and select the limiter for Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals.  Once this option is chosen, only scholarly articles will be retrieved.  Here are some examples
